Zappos x Columbia PFG Event
I have long been a fan of both Columbia and Zappos, so I was thrilled to find out that Columbia has a new line of PFG Footwear and it's available on Zappos.com! Growing up, our family would go on three week long camping trips to Jackson Hole, Wyoming every summer and Columbia products were our favorite to wear. We all had Columbia sweatshirts, shoes, and all kinds of camping gear from the brand. It wasn't until a few years ago when I started buying Columbia shirts for Zach that I realized the brand is so much more than camping gear- it fits all lifestyles and the quality is unbeatable, especially for the price. Zappos has speedy shipping so I was able to get our clothes for an event we attended Saturday in two quick days! Whether we're hanging out at home or having a night out with friends, Z and I both love Columbia PFG. We are now huge fans of their footwear, which you'll see below. We attended the most fun event Saturday evening promoting the new PFG Footwear line and I have worn my sneakers every day since. They are so cute and comfortable- I ALWAYS have to wear shoes at least a few times before breaking them in. Not these! Comfy from the start. And for $60 with free shipping? Can't beat it. MY DRESS & SHOES | ZACH'S SHOES, SHIRT, & SHORTS
My friend Alice and I showed up to the event twinning without even planning it, but we weren't surprised because this polka dot dress is so comfy and cute! I also love that it's nursing friendly for you other mamas out there. We all couldn't get over how comfortable the PFG Footwear is- there was a big try-on station at the event where you could test out different styles and I wanted to take home every pair! Each one felt like walking on air; the shoes are incredibly lightweight and I love all the fun colors you can choose from. Zach went with a more classic combo of grey with red lining so his will match everything, but I wanted a fun pop of color and went for coral slides. I'll be living in these shoes- I love that they can be dressed up with dresses and skirts, or more casual with jeans and shorts.
As far as the event itself, we had a blast! There was photo booth station, free drinks & tasty food, lots of swag, and endless games that made the time fly by. I was sad to leave our friends at the end of the evening but was also ready to get home to Bear and Boone, who were having their first evening with a babysitter. Thankfully we knew they were in good hands so we could relax and have a good time. You know you're having fun when the biggest decision of the night is "cripsy or grilled" pertaining to your chicken sandwich. #winning
I'll let you guys in on a little secret- I was so pleased with our Zappos order of the Columbia clothing/shoes we wore to the event that two days later, I ordered a new watch from Zappos as well. I've been so stuck on Amazon that I had forgotten how easy Zappos is and how many more options are available. If you're searching for a good Father's Day gift, everything Zach is wearing would be the perfect choice! He wore these shorts out to Little Woodrow's and then again the next day to mow the yard which shows their versatility- same thing with the shoes. As parents of little kids, we're always on the hunt for items like these that are easy to throw on and work for all occasions. Zappos x Columbia have us covered!
