Happy Hump Day, y'all!

I decided to share some recent Instagram posts with links for those of you who don't use liketoknowit. As you can tell, I'm obsessed with all things tassel and funky pool floats. There's something about floating around the neighborhood pool on a giant slice of pepperoni pizza that just makes me so happy. It makes Zach really embarrassed (doesn't stop me).

We spent the weekend in Wimberley, Texas at a cabin with all of Zach's immediate family. Bear has six cousins, all boys, so it was pretty crazy as you can imagine. They had a blast playing in the river, fishing, and waking up at the crack of dawn. I was officially the laziest I've ever been and the whole family was even making jokes about it. I'm normally a go-go-go kind of person on vacation; I want to hit the ground running and see everything there is to see. This trip, however, was all about relaxation. We parked our cars at the cabin and didn't leave for three days straight; I can't remember the last time my car was in one place for that long. It took some serious willpower not to drive twenty minutes to the San Marcos Outlet Mall, let me tell you. It was a much needed trip of R&R and it's nice to be back home, not needing a vacation from the vacation.

I've been trying to catch up on work and house cleaning today, so of course Bear has decided to be the biggest rascal ever. I mopped the kitchen floor and thirty minutes later gave my three year old spaghetti and meatballs (from a can, of course) because clearly I have no brain. Lets just say that all that mopping was a complete waste of time. And because a good mess should never be limited to just the floor, there's spaghetti sauce smeared all over the back door and kitchen windows, as well. Anyone know of a cheap housekeeper in Houston? I can pay in SpaghettiOs and Ninja Turtle Fruit Roll-Ups. If she agrees to babysit I'll just let her move in.
